04:30 pm - A Web On The Web

If you go there right now, you can watch a spider weaving a web in front of a VolcanoCam in Iceland by going to http://www.ruv.is/hekla/.

There was a web in front of the lens of that webcam this morning and I'm guessing it was the same spider. Here's a photo of this morning's web:

01:55 pm - Need help identifying

This insect is what I'm most interested in knowing more about. It looks spiky and is in a web. I know these aren't the best pictures but if any one can give me any type of information that would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

01:03 pm - We had a guest for brunch this morning

Because even jumping spiders need to eat - and thanks for dispatching that ant.

Walking off that meal is always good

She was safely escorted to the door and out -  there are much better snacks in the yard after all.
